Some dog breeds are considered “dangerous”. Feather does not cover purebred dangerous dog breeds, however we do cover mixed breeds - dogs that are a partial or full mix of dangerous breeds, for example, a Pitbull x Labrador or Mastiff x Bull terrier. Other insurers may still cover dangerous breeds, and policies for such dog breeds are typically a bit more expensive.
